And yes, we haven’t forgotten those anticipated Legend updates and shake-ups in the game’s meta. This season, we’re throwing a massive celebration, coinciding with our Anniversary Event, which will introduce even more community-driven content and the debut of the Mythic R-301. Gear up, as Apex Legends: Takeover launches on February 11.
Meet the Creator Commissioners
Four creators are taking charge, each ruling for two weeks, ushering in their unique challenges, exciting new and returning modes, and rewards that are sure to attract attention. In the first week, team up with fellow players to tackle community challenges and decide how many Apex Packs will be up for grabs in the following week.
The real excitement kicks in during the second week, where you must tackle five distinct challenges to unlock a creator-chosen Legendary weapon skin and snag those Apex Packs you worked hard for in the first week. But heads up—you’ll need to participate in the second week to claim those rewards, week one alone isn’t enough.
Meet Your Legendary Skins Designers:

Introducing Arsenals
In an exciting twist to Battle Royale, Arsenals offer you consistent, easy access to your preferred weapons and ammo. Dotted across points of interest on every map, these stations feature fixed locations with randomly selected ammo types each match.
Arsenals don’t just arm you; they empower you. You can upgrade one weapon per Arsenal, matching it with the Arsenal’s ammo type to snag a better attachment and an optic if needed. Once the bins reset, so do the Arsenals, providing another chance to enhance your gear with even more powerful upgrades and a healthy increase in ammo supply.
The Game-Changing Meta Updates
Hold on tight because this season ushers in significant meta updates you’ll want to discover ASAP. With adjustments across all weapon classes, everything’s fine-tuned to stand toe-to-toe with Assault Rifles. Plus, you might notice a quicker time-to-kill thanks to weapon tweaks and upgrades in Armor, Helmets, and headshot multipliers. Legends aren’t left out either! The Assault class steps up with new perks, while characters like Ash and Ballistic receive special updates. Also, expect changes in regen items to keep your odds fair amidst these shifts.
