During this mystical occurrence, the shrines of Sanctuary become infused with incredible and abundant power—a treat thought to be gifted by the Ancestors in celebration of this joyful time.

When you activate any Shrine in Sanctuary, including the unique Nahantu, you’ll enjoy a whopping 100% bonus experience boost for two minutes. That’s not all; you’ll also gain an extra power bonus while boosting your Ancestral Favor Reputation.

For those eager to experience all the Lunar Awakening has to offer, make your way to Ked Bardu and head north in town until you meet Ying-Yue, the leader of the Lunar Night Market. This bustling hub is your go-to spot during the event. Here, you can exchange your Ancestral Favor Reputation for mystical Unceasing Gifts from the Ancestors caches and delightful Lunar Renewal-themed goodies.

Throughout Sanctuary, Lunar Shrines have appeared. Battle through dungeons and the wild landscapes to activate these Lunar Shrines and slay monsters, racking up tons of Ancestral Favor Reputation along the way.

These Lunar Shrines hum with the potent powers from the spirits of the Ancestors. During the Lunar Awakening, every Shrine transforms into a Lunar Shrine, offering a 100% experience bonus with a fresh look fit for the Year of the Snake! They work just like normal Shrines but with extra oomph to mark this festive celebration. You can easily spot them thanks to their unique Map icon.

Besides the experience bonus, these Shrines offer exciting augmented powers. Here’s what you can expect from the Lunar Shrine effects:

• Artillery Shrine: Spells may randomly summon a holy bomb.
• Blast Wave Shrine: Each blast brings a swarm of cluster bombardment.
• Channeling Shrine: Boosts attack speed and reset cooldown chances.
• Conduit Shrine: Unleash frequent, mighty electrical attacks.
• Greed Shrine: Chance to call a Treasure Goblin to your side, luring more with every kill.
• Lethal Shrine: Instantly execute a struck monster, inspiring Fear in others nearby (applies to Elites, but not Bosses or Players).
• Protection Shrine: Reflect all incoming damage, with scaling based on Level and Difficulty.

Upon activating a Lunar Shrine, Miserly Spirits appear immediately, letting you dive right into the Shrine’s enhanced gameplay benefits.
