Nintendo has announced that the Nintendo Direct focused on the Nintendo Switch 2 will be broadcast tomorrow, Wednesday, April 2, 2025, and it’s set to last about an hour.
You can catch the Nintendo Direct presentation at 6 a.m. PT, 9 a.m. ET, 2 p.m. BST, or 3 p.m. CEST.
It was just last month when Nintendo officially pulled back the curtain on the Nintendo Switch 2, quelling weeks of rumors and supposed leaks about the successor to their portable home console.
In a brief teaser video, the console’s design was put on display, a fresh Mario Kart installment was hinted at, and they confirmed compatibility with games from the original portable home console.
Nintendo has gone on to clarify that the Switch 2 will be able to run both physical and digital games from its predecessor. That said, they did issue a cautionary note that some Nintendo Switch titles might not fully work or be supported on the new hardware.
Globally, the Nintendo Switch 2 is slated to hit the market in 2025, though the specific launch date remains unannounced.
