After taking a breather with some Unovan vibes, Pokemon Go fans can gear up for an exciting weekend as summer approaches.
The highly anticipated Pokemon Go Fest has been slated for June, bringing with it a series of in-person events. These will kick off from May 29 to June 1 in Osaka, Japan, followed by gatherings in Jersey City, NJ, from June 6 to 8, and in Paris, France, from June 13 to 15. The grand finale will be a global event on June 28 and 29. If you’re interested in attending, you can grab tickets for these in-person experiences now. Plus, there’s a special $15 ticket available for the global event, which promises exclusive gameplay opportunities, including the chance to encounter the mythical Pokemon Volcanion. Meanwhile, all players can look forward to capturing the “crowned” forms of Sword and Shield mascots Zacian and Zamazenta.
Here’s a tip: snagging the global ticket by April 15 and logging into the game between April 8 and 15 will unlock a special research story. This could lead to an encounter with Skiddo, a Pokemon that was previously only accessible at “City Safari” events. These live events have been quite rare, held only in select locations since late 2023.
